About BridgeTeach

For more than 20 years in education, I have experienced the hiring process from both sides of the interview table.

As a teacher, principal, and leadership candidate, I sat through countless interviews wondering the same things many educators wonder today.

Why didn't I get the job?

Was it my resume?

Was it my interview?

What could I have done differently?

Most of the time, nobody tells you.

Later in my career, I moved to the other side of the table.

Over 13 years as a school leader, including nine years at Brent International School Manila and now as Superintendent of Escuela Bella Vista in Venezuela, I have interviewed hundreds of candidates for teaching and leadership positions.

Many exceptional educators in local and national schools are never given the opportunity they deserve, not because they lack the ability to succeed, but because they struggle to communicate their strengths in a way that resonates with international school leaders.

I saw this repeatedly among talented teachers whose experience, professionalism, and potential were not fully reflected in their resumes or interviews.

The educators I worked with at Brent International School Manila had a profound impact on me. I worked alongside teachers who were professional, resilient, intelligent, caring, and deeply committed to students. I hired them, mentored them, wrote references for them, and celebrated as many earned opportunities around the world.

I knew what these educators were capable of because I had worked beside them every day.

The challenge was helping others see it too.

BridgeTeach is my way of giving back. I created it to help talented teachers in local and national schools build stronger resumes, master interviews, and communicate their value with confidence, so that international school leaders see in them what I already know is there.
