This Privacy Policy explains what information BridgeTeach LLC (“BridgeTeach,” “we,” or “us”) collects when you use the BridgeTeach platform at bridgeteach.app and related services, how we use it, and what rights you have over your personal data - wherever you are located. “Personal data” means any information that can be used to identify you directly or indirectly.
BridgeTeach is designed for educators seeking international school opportunities. We take your privacy seriously. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We collect only what is needed to deliver the service and improve it over time.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address. Sign in is by emailed link: there is no password to collect and no third party sign-in.
CV content
If you upload a CV, we extract the text and send it to our AI provider to run the review. The text is not written to our database: it exists only for the length of the request that produces your review. The review itself, and the email address you give us to receive it, are stored. Anthropic deletes the text we send within 30 days and does not use it to train its models.
Session transcripts
When you complete an Interview Check or a mock interview session, the text of that conversation is stored with your session record. We never publish or share individual transcripts. Conversation text is sent to our AI provider to generate each reply. Anthropic deletes the text we send within 30 days and does not use it to train its models.
Voice recordings
Because voice recordings can be considered sensitive personal data under some privacy laws, we only process them with your consent and strictly for the purposes described here.
Free tier: Voice recordings are used only to convert your speech to text during the session. They are deleted immediately when the session ends and are never stored.
Paid sessions: No voice recording is stored, on any tier. Your speech is sent to our speech-to-text provider, turned into text, and the audio is not kept by us.
Your audio is sent to our speech-to-text provider to be turned into text, and to no one else. ElevenLabs may keep the audio and the transcript under its own retention policy; we do not have a zero-retention arrangement with them.
Readiness assessment data
After each Interview Check, BridgeTeach generates an internal coaching assessment - a structured summary of conversation patterns, professional confidence signals, and preparation areas observed during your session. This assessment is linked to your session record and is used to track your coaching progress and improve BridgeTeach's coaching accuracy over time. It is never published or shared individually.
Device and usage data
We collect a device fingerprint - a non-identifying hash derived from your browser and device characteristics - to prevent account sharing and protect the service from abuse. We use device fingerprints only for fraud prevention and abuse protection. We do not use them for advertising or tracking you across other websites.
We also record session timestamps, a hashed version of your IP address, and any rating you choose to leave after a session. We do not collect campaign or referral parameters. We use no analytics tools of any kind.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver and personalize the BridgeTeach coaching experience
- Generate CV review feedback and interview coaching responses
- Deliver the coaching, the review, and the feedback you asked for.
- Prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and protect the service
- Send transactional emails (session confirmations, account notifications)
- If you provide your email address after a session, we will send you a summary of your feedback and occasional coaching emails to support your job search. You can unsubscribe from these at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Contact you about your account or changes to this policy
- Keep your session records so you can return to them.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data to any third party.
Legal bases for processing. Our legal bases for processing your personal data include: (a) your consent - for example, when you upload a CV or start a voice session; (b) performance of a contract - providing the BridgeTeach service you sign up for; and (c) our legitimate interests - such as fraud prevention, service security, and improving coaching accuracy - provided these interests do not override your rights and freedoms. Legitimate interest is a recognized legal basis for processing under the Philippines Data Privacy Act and comparable privacy frameworks.
Automated assessments. Our coaching and readiness assessment features involve automated analysis of your responses to identify strengths and preparation areas. These automated assessments are used only for coaching purposes and do not make binding decisions about your candidacy or your access to this service.
3. How long we keep your information

4. Third-party providers
BridgeTeach uses trusted third-party providers based in the United States and other countries to deliver the service. Where this involves transferring your personal data outside your home country (including outside the Philippines), we take appropriate steps to protect it in line with applicable law. Each provider receives only the data necessary for their specific function. This list reflects our current providers and will be updated as our infrastructure changes:
- Anthropic (US) - the AI that writes your feedback. Your CV text and conversation text are sent to generate it. Anthropic deletes the text we send within 30 days and does not use it to train its models.
- ElevenLabs (US) - speech to text during sessions, and text to speech for the AI voice. Audio is sent for transcription; text is sent for audio generation.
- Supabase (US) - our database. Session records, transcripts, generated feedback, names and email addresses are stored there.
- Vercel (US) - hosting. Requests to BridgeTeach pass through Vercel, and our server logs are held there.
- Resend (US) - email delivery. Your email address, your name and the full text of your review or feedback pass through Resend to reach your inbox.
- We use no analytics service and no error tracking service. Nothing on this site reports your behavior to a third party.
- No payment processor is connected. BridgeTeach takes no payments today and stores no payment card information.
These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your personal data and use it only for the services they provide to BridgeTeach.
We do not share your data with any other third parties. We do not use your data for advertising networks or data brokers.
5. Your rights
Under the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and applicable international privacy law, you have the right to:
- Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction - request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Erasure - request that your personal data be deleted
- Objection - object to certain uses of your data
- Data portability - request your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent - withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time
If you are a resident of Texas or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws, you may have additional rights under those laws, which we will respect where they apply.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@bridgeteach.app. We will respond within 30 days. If we decline to act on a request, we will explain why. You may appeal our decision by replying to our response and we will review it in line with applicable law.
6. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. Access to personal data is limited to team members and service providers who need it to operate BridgeTeach and are bound by confidentiality obligations. We periodically review our security practices and those of our cloud and infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure - if you have concerns about a specific piece of sensitive information, contact us before uploading it.
7. Children
BridgeTeach is designed for professional educators. By using BridgeTeach, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. For residents of jurisdictions with mandatory data protection laws - including, for example, the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 - those laws will apply to the extent they provide stronger protections or rights than this Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of BridgeTeach after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
