Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information BridgeTeach LLC (“BridgeTeach,” “we,” or “us”) collects when you use the BridgeTeach platform at bridgeteach.app and related services, how we use it, and what rights you have over your personal data — wherever you are located. “Personal data” means any information that can be used to identify you directly or indirectly.
BridgeTeach is designed for educators seeking international school opportunities. We take your privacy seriously. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We collect only what is needed to deliver the service and improve it over time.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile image from Google, which we use only for account identification within BridgeTeach. We use Google Single Sign-On and Magic Link email login — we do not collect or store passwords.
CV content
If you upload a CV, we extract and store the text content to personalise your coaching session and, if you use the CV Audit feature, to run the audit. Your CV is stored securely and is accessible only to you. When generating CV audit feedback, your CV text is processed by our AI providers solely to deliver this service. It is not used by them to train public AI models, per their API terms.
Session transcripts
When you complete an International School Leader Conversation Check or a mock interview session, the transcript of that session — the text of the conversation — is retained. We may analyse session transcripts in aggregate or de-identified form to improve BridgeTeach's coaching quality and features. We never publish or share individual transcripts. When we send conversation text to AI providers for processing, they use it only to generate responses for your session and do not use it to train their public models, per their API terms.
Voice recordings
Because voice recordings can be considered sensitive personal data under some privacy laws, we only process them with your consent and strictly for the purposes described here.
Free tier: Voice recordings are used only to convert your speech to text during the session. They are deleted immediately when the session ends and are never stored.
Paid tier: Voice recordings may be retained during your active subscription to support playback and review features. They are deleted within 30 days of subscription cancellation.
Voice data is sent only to our speech-to-text provider for the duration of the session. It is never shared with third parties for any other purpose.
Readiness assessment data
After each International School Leader Conversation Check, BridgeTeach generates an internal coaching assessment — a structured summary of conversation patterns, professional confidence signals, and preparation areas observed during your session. This assessment is linked to your session record and is used to track your coaching progress and improve BridgeTeach's coaching accuracy over time. It is never published or shared individually.
Device and usage data
We collect a device fingerprint — a non-identifying hash derived from your browser and device characteristics — to prevent account sharing and protect the service from abuse. We use device fingerprints only for fraud prevention and abuse protection. We do not use them for advertising or tracking you across other websites.
We also collect standard usage data including session timestamps, IP address, UTM attribution parameters (which link or campaign brought you to BridgeTeach), post-session survey responses, and which features you used. We may use privacy-focused analytics tools to understand how BridgeTeach is used and to improve the product. These tools do not use your data for advertising.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver and personalise the BridgeTeach coaching experience
- Generate CV audit feedback and interview coaching responses
- Improve the accuracy and quality of BridgeTeach's assessments over time, using aggregated or de-identified data
- Prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and protect the service
- Send transactional emails (session confirmations, account notifications)
- If you provide your email address after a session, we will send you a summary of your feedback and occasional coaching emails to support your job search. You can unsubscribe from these at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Contact you about your account or changes to this policy
- Analyse aggregate, anonymised session patterns to improve coaching quality (using session data, UTM attribution, and post-session survey responses)
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data to any third party.
Legal bases for processing. Our legal bases for processing your personal data include: (a) your consent — for example, when you upload a CV or start a voice session; (b) performance of a contract — providing the BridgeTeach service you sign up for; and (c) our legitimate interests — such as fraud prevention, service security, and improving coaching accuracy — provided these interests do not override your rights and freedoms. Legitimate interest is a recognised legal basis for processing under the Philippines Data Privacy Act and comparable privacy frameworks.
Automated assessments. Our coaching and readiness assessment features involve automated analysis of your responses to identify strengths and preparation areas. These automated assessments are used only for coaching purposes and do not make binding decisions about your candidacy or your access to this service.
3. How long we keep your information

|---|---|
| Free-tier voice recordings | Deleted immediately at session end |
| Paid-tier voice recordings | Deleted within 30 days of subscription cancellation |

4. Third-party providers
BridgeTeach uses trusted third-party providers based in the United States and other countries to deliver the service. Where this involves transferring your personal data outside your home country (including outside the Philippines), we take appropriate steps to protect it in line with applicable law. Each provider receives only the data necessary for their specific function. This list reflects our current providers and will be updated as our infrastructure changes:
- Anthropic (US) — AI coaching and feedback generation. Conversation text is processed to generate responses; not retained by Anthropic for training public models per their API terms.
- OpenAI Whisper or Deepgram (US) — speech-to-text conversion during sessions. Audio is sent for the duration of the session only and is not used to train public models per their API terms.
- ElevenLabs or OpenAI (US) — text-to-speech for the AI voice. Text is sent for audio generation only.
- Supabase (US) — authentication and database (account data and session records).
- Vercel (US) — hosting and file storage (CV files and paid-tier audio stored in Vercel Blob).
- Resend (US) — transactional email delivery.
- Stripe and Xendit (US / Singapore) (paid tier only) — payment processing. BridgeTeach does not store payment card information.
These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your personal data and use it only for the services they provide to BridgeTeach.
We do not share your data with any other third parties. We do not use your data for advertising networks or data brokers.
5. Your rights
Under the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and applicable international privacy law, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Erasure — request that your personal data be deleted
- Objection — object to certain uses of your data
- Data portability — request your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time
If you are a resident of Texas or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws, you may have additional rights under those laws, which we will respect where they apply.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@bridgeteach.app. We will respond within 30 days. If we decline to act on a request, we will explain why. You may appeal our decision by replying to our response and we will review it in line with applicable law.
6. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. Access to personal data is limited to team members and service providers who need it to operate BridgeTeach and are bound by confidentiality obligations. We periodically review our security practices and those of our cloud and infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — if you have concerns about a specific piece of sensitive information, contact us before uploading it.
7. Children
BridgeTeach is designed for professional educators. By using BridgeTeach, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. For residents of jurisdictions with mandatory data protection laws — including, for example, the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 — those laws will apply to the extent they provide stronger protections or rights than this Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of BridgeTeach after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
