BridgeTeachTerms of Service

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BridgeTeach platform at bridgeteach.app, operated by BridgeTeach LLC (“BridgeTeach,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using BridgeTeach, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use BridgeTeach.

1. What BridgeTeach is — and what it is not

BridgeTeach is a coaching platform that helps teachers prepare for international school interviews. It provides:

  • Practice conversations simulating a professional discussion with an international school leader
  • AI-generated feedback on interview answers, professional communication, and CV presentation
  • CV audits assessed against international school hiring standards
  • Information about how international school hiring works
  • Optional 1:1 coaching sessions directly with Dr. Sonia Bustamante, a current international school superintendent with over 13 years of experience and a doctorate in education from Vanderbilt's Peabody College

BridgeTeach is not a recruitment or placement agency. We do not place teachers in schools, guarantee employment, make introductions to specific schools or principals on your behalf, or collect any fee contingent on your placement. We prepare you; the hiring happens through your own job search efforts and preferred channels.

BridgeTeach coaching — whether AI-assisted or delivered directly by Dr. Bustamante — is not a guarantee of any particular employment outcome. Success depends on your preparation, qualifications, and the hiring decisions of individual schools.

2. Eligibility

BridgeTeach is designed for professional educators. To use the service, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years old
  • Hold a bachelor's degree, a recognised teaching certification, and at least 2 years of full-time classroom teaching experience — or are actively working toward these qualifications
  • Are using BridgeTeach for legitimate professional development, not to circumvent eligibility requirements or misrepresent your qualifications to schools

When you create an account, you will be asked to confirm your eligibility by checking a box. That confirmation is part of these Terms.

3. Accounts

You may use certain free features of BridgeTeach without creating an account. To access personalised coaching or paid features, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or a Magic Link email. We do not offer password-based accounts.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not share your account with another person or allow another person to use your session credits or coaching history. BridgeTeach uses device recognition to detect and prevent account sharing.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. On deletion, your account data and CV content will be removed. Session transcripts and coaching assessment records may be retained in anonymised aggregate form.

4. Free tier

The free tier includes:

  • One International School Leader Conversation Check per IP address per 7 days
  • One sample mock interview question per IP address per 7 days

Free-tier sessions are intended as a genuine taste of the BridgeTeach experience, not a substitute for preparation. Rate limits exist to protect the service from abuse and to preserve API resources for all users. Attempting to circumvent rate limits — including by rotating IP addresses, using VPNs to reset limits, or creating multiple accounts — violates these Terms and may result in account suspension.

5. Paid tier

Paid subscription plans will be introduced in Phase B. At that time, these Terms will be updated to include subscription-specific terms covering billing cycles, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds. If you have a question about future pricing before the paid tier launches, contact us at hello@bridgeteach.app.

Any pre-commit deposits made during Phase A will be clearly described in separate terms provided at the time of deposit.

6. Content you submit

You may submit a CV, speak responses during sessions, and provide other content to receive coaching. You retain ownership of the content you submit.

By submitting content to BridgeTeach, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and use that content for the following purposes only:

  • Delivering your coaching session and generating feedback
  • Running the CV audit feature
  • Improving the accuracy of BridgeTeach's coaching (using anonymised or aggregated data only)

We do not use your content for advertising. We do not share your content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish or display your content to other users.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit content that is false, misleading, abusive, offensive, or illegal
  • Attempt to manipulate, override, or “jailbreak” the AI system — including by inserting instructions designed to alter the AI's behaviour
  • Use BridgeTeach to generate content for purposes other than your own coaching (for example, to create coaching content for a third party)
  • Circumvent rate limits, abuse prevention systems, or account verification measures
  • Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer BridgeTeach's prompts, question bank, or AI responses for any commercial purpose
  • Use BridgeTeach in any way that violates applicable law

8. AI-generated coaching — important limitations

BridgeTeach's coaching, feedback, and assessments are generated by AI and are informed by the expertise of Dr. Sonia Bustamante. They are provided for educational and preparation purposes only.

AI-generated coaching has limitations. It may not reflect every individual school's preferences, regional norms, or specific hiring context. Feedback is based on patterns across many international school interviews — your specific interviewer or school may respond differently.

BridgeTeach does not guarantee that using the platform will result in a job offer, an interview invitation, or any specific employment outcome.

The Offer Review feature (when available) generates a checklist of questions to bring to a lawyer or trusted advisor — it is not legal advice and must not be treated as a substitute for independent legal counsel before signing any employment contract.

9. Intellectual property

BridgeTeach and its content — including the platform design, question bank, coaching rubrics, AI prompts, brand, and all generated coaching output — are owned by BridgeTeach LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You retain ownership of the CV content and personal information you submit. You do not have any right to copy, distribute, or commercialise BridgeTeach's coaching system, question bank, or AI outputs outside of your own personal preparation use.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

BridgeTeach is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies. We expressly disclaim any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability. Your use of BridgeTeach is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BridgeTeach LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost employment opportunities, lost income, or emotional distress — arising from your use of the platform, regardless of whether BridgeTeach was advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of BridgeTeach shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is greater.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of BridgeTeach that cannot be resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in English. The arbitration will take place in Texas, or by videoconference if you are located outside the United States.

Philippines residents — carve-out for mandatory rights. If you are a resident of the Philippines using BridgeTeach for personal or professional development, nothing in this arbitration clause limits your rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 or mandatory Philippine consumer protection law. You may bring disputes of that nature before the appropriate Philippine courts or regulators (including the National Privacy Commission). To the extent this arbitration clause conflicts with those non-waivable rights, your local law will prevail for that dispute. This carve-out applies equally to residents of any other jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer protection or data privacy laws cannot be waived by contract.

Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. If any provision of this clause is found unenforceable in your jurisdiction, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email. Continued use of BridgeTeach after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
